Member Spotlight: Dublin Soccer League and a tradition of excellence

Our spotlight returns with a league pretty closely centered in the state geographically: Dublin Soccer League!

So, tell us about the league.

The Dublin Soccer League is a community based recreational and competitive program that provides a safe and positive environment, promoting good sportsmanship, education and development for the enjoyment and appreciation of the game.

Incorporated in 1989, program numbers typically range between 2000 and 2500 players for fall and spring season.

What kinds of programs do you offer?

DSL offers programs for players age 3 1/2 – 19. Middle school players U12 – U15 participate in the Middle School Soccer Association (MSSA) that typically includes 75 co-rec teams and 24 girls teams from around central Ohio. U15 – U19 players attending high school participate in the co-ed High School Soccer Association (HSSA) that plays Sunday afternoons.

For those outstanding on the field of play, DSX (Dublin Soccer Excel) offers competitive training and competition for boys and girls age 7 – 15 under the direction of DOC Mo Razack.

What is the greatest strength of DSL?

The greatest strength of our league is our combination of steady leadership, dedicated staff, devoted volunteer coaches and reliable youth referees. John Muir has worked for DSL for over 30 years, initially as Executive Director, now as scheduler, referee assignor and fields coordinator. Patrice Kelley started with the league in 2008, working her way through the various roles of DSL and now serving as Executive Director. Registrar Josh Whitehouse, DSX Manager Dominique Hoecherl and DOC Mo Razack complete our staff.

OSA has been a constant partner with the Dublin Soccer League since its inception, providing governance and insurance necessary for the league’s operations.

Come and be a part of the DSL family!

Now in its 37th year, DSL is once again looking forward to spring soccer season. Spring 2026 registration continues until teams are full. Wait lists begin February 1st. Register now!
