The Referee Abuse Prevention Policy, which went into effect on March 1st, is designed to make youth and amateur matches a more safe and respectful environment for everyone involved.
This initiative by U.S. Soccer aims to improve the referee environment and enforce stronger penalties for misconduct. We’re asking everyone to do their part by knowing the rules, reporting referee abuse, and embodying behaviors that represent the best of us.
