OSA League & Member Services

Ohio Soccer Association is looking to hire two additional staff to support its growing membership. One position will be in the North office (Brunswick, OH) and the other position in the South office (Maineville, OH). Both full-time with benefits and part-time are available.

Ohio Soccer Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing soccer in the State of Ohio. Job Description

The staff member(s) involved with League and Member Services is responsible for all support in the area of all areas relating to league management and membership support including; program administration, communications, accounting, compliance. This position will report to both the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Director of Member Services.

Qualifications

  • Prior work experience with youth soccer or other youth sports administration.
  • Experience with technology to engage, inform, and communicate with members.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of OSA’s member services.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of OSA leagues.
  • Assist the Director of Member Services, Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to implement membership strategies that engage, retain and grow membership.
  • Develops and fosters working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist with OSA’s Out of State Player permission processes.
  • Assist with OSA’s Guest Player and Tournament Team registration process.
  • Provide membership services support in the areas of Risk Management and Coach and Player Registration.
  • Provide management and assistance with OSA’s member leagues including both competitive and grassroots programming.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong administrative and customer service skills.
  • Team/people-oriented.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint.
  • Requires the ability to analyze data and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge or experience working with online registration systems and databases preferred.

Work hours are flexible and may include weekend responsibilities during major Ohio Soccer Association events, such as the Cup Series. If you are looking for an opportunity to join one of U.S. Youth Soccer’s largest state associations, here is your chance!
