As this season of US Youth Soccer’s National League concludes, twelve teams have punched their ticket to the National Championships. National League offers a direct route for teams to qualify by coming in either first or second in the group, or by account of the first or second place team in the group having won their State Cup already (not all State Cups are held in the spring like Ohio’s) and a team is sitting in third place.
Because the competition in National League is strong, it becomes a huge achievement for teams to find any level of success in the league – much less qualify for the National Championships. We offer our congratulations to the following teams who have secured their spot on the biggest stage:

Club Ohio Dayton 07G Elite are very close to securing their ticket to Nationals this summer. They face a stern St. Croix Academy team, which sit one place below them in the group, at the end of this month in what is sure to be a fierce Game 7 for each team.

The US Youth Soccer National League provides the top league competition in USYS and is comprised of four areas of competition: Elite 64, National League Conference, National League P.R.O., and National League Showcase Series. Ohio teams participate in the Great Lakes Conference (GLC), the National League Conference for our area, and are accepted into both GLC and NL P.R.O. based on results earned the season prior. The Ohio Soccer State League serves as a qualifying league for GLC.
