Safe Soccer

What is safe soccer?

Ohio Soccer Association is focused on creating a safe playing environment for all youth soccer players in Ohio. One of our roles is to educate our member leagues and clubs on their compliance responsibilities, and to provide Adult Participants, parents and athletes the means by which to fulfill their legal requirements.

To make this simple to understand, we have broken the requirements down into four ‘pillars’ that we term ‘Safe Soccer’ (formerly: risk or risk management). These pillars apply to all, regardless of recreational or competitive affiliation.

OSA provides the ability for its member leagues and clubs to be fully compliant in all Safe Soccer requirements through GotSport. If you do not have access to your OSA risk requirements in GotSport, please reach out to your league or club to confirm your GotSport email/user ID.
