Hudl Becomes Exclusive Video and Data Analytics Partner of Ohio Soccer Association

One of the largest US Youth Soccer State Associations is teaming up with the best in class for video and data tools to improve performance on and off the field for its membership.

MAINEVILLE, Ohio (April 13, 2023) – Ohio Soccer Association (OSA) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Hudl. Hudl will become OSA’s exclusive video and data analytics, auto-capture, and league exchange partner. The industry-leading video and data technology, including the Hudl Focus Flex camera, will be used by OSA to enhance coaching education courses and offer supplemental coach/athlete data and video instruction within the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

The partnership with Hudl combines our mission to support soccer in the local community with innovative technology. Hudl offers an easy-to-use video review tool that opens lines of communication between team members and facilitates online coaching opportunities from any computer or mobile device. Hudl Assist provides complete match breakdowns, with team and player stats as well as visual reports to turn top moments into highlights or pinpoint areas for improvement with the click of a mouse or tap of a screen.

“We are excited to work with Hudl,” said OSA Executive Director Gordon Henderson. “This partnership will greatly benefit our coaching education, ODP, and the greater Ohio soccer community. Technology has become a player in the youth sports scene. You see cameras on so many fields these days. Through Hudl, we can provide greater membership access to technology that enables coaches and players to evaluate and improve their game.”

OSA and Hudl will also work together to create an Ohio Soccer Channel using Hudl TV, which will live stream key events such as select State Cup and Presidents Cup games, ODP events, and more.

“We’re excited to partner with Ohio Soccer Association to provide the tools they need to succeed. OSA is a model program to work with and this partnership provides a natural alignment between our two organizations. I’m confident our cameras, data, and recruiting tools will help them reach their goals,” said Rachel Krasnow, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Hudl.

OSA is among those leading the way in youth soccer by providing members and athletes access to cutting-edge technology used by the best in the game.
