National Championships
Reaching the National Championships is what every soccer player dreams of. All the hard work of grinding out practices in the snow, rain, mud, and heat when no one is watching leads to this point in the season. All the league matches, tournaments, and Cups brought them here.
It’s a big stage. Those are big dreams. And now, that dream becomes reality.

Semifinals
U15 Girls
In a rematch of the Midwest Regional Championships final in Indianapolis, GTFC Impact G07 Premier took it all the way to penalty kicks in the National semi-final but were unable to dispatch Eclipse Select Central (IL). A monumental effort from the only girls side to reach the semi’s.
U16 Boys
Having met earlier in the National League season, CUP 06B Gold ground out a narrow 1-0 victory over KC Athletics (KS) to move on to the National final.
U19 Boys
A thrilling match to the very end, Ohio Galaxies 03B Elite fall just short 4-3 against Baltimore Celtic (MD). Tied at 1-1 at halftime, the second half lit up at both ends. Galaxies took the lead 3-2 but were unable to hold on and the game went into extra time at 3-3. With just under 5 minutes left in the second half of extra time, Celtic scored to knock Galaxies out. A fantastic effort from OGFC and a fun game to watch!
Midwest Regional Championships
Finals
U13 Boys
An even match for the entirety, there was very little between Sporting Columbus and Barcelona Academy Chicago (IL). These two talented teams were locked at 0-0 until extra time, when Barca made the breakthough. Sporting Columbus showed very well and on any other day the result could be easily reversed.
U15 Girls
Coming of a solid 3-0 win in the semifinals against Sporting Blue Valley (KS), GTFC Impact G07 Premier fell just short of a regional title, losing 1-2 to Eclipse Select Central (IL).
U17 Boys
A last minute penalty in the semi-final propelled FC Evolution N B05 into the final, where they continued their scintillating form at regionals with a strong 4-0 performance over Chicago FC United (IL). This brings their total goal tally in Indy to 29 (!) as they warm up for the National Championships next month.
U18 Boys
In a rematch of THE Ohio State Cup final, Team Challenger FC B04 Black would flip the script and come out regional champions over CUP 04B Gold, sending them to the National Championships.
U18 Girls
A sensational last minute winner from striker Julia Kure added to a strong penalty from Jadyn Harris as FC Evolution N G04 take the title 2-1 over Legends FC (MI).
Midwest Presidents Cup
Fourteen teams from Ohio head to St. Louis for the Midwest Presidents Cup.
Five teams reached the semi-finals, with two advancing to the finals of their age group: Olimpia USA U13A Boys and Cincinnati West SC B03 Academy Elite.
This is the first time that any team from Olimpia has qualified for a regional competition, and they represented very well, falling just short in the final.
CWSC also fell short after a valiant effort, and both teams should be extremely proud of a sensational close to the season. Well done!
